There are several different means to ship boats internationally. We
will tailor the transportation to fit your needs. The options can be
limited by the size of the boat, port locations, timing, and budget.
We will give you every option available to you and help you make the
best choice for your particular requirements.
We will give you quotes from US to Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean
within one day. Other quotes may take some time depending on boat
dimensions and location.
Please have all keys and original paperwork sent to the person
receiving the boat. DO NOT give any paperwork or keys to the driver.
Rates are based on the dimensions that you provide. The boats are
measured at the port. There will be additional charges if the boat is
larger that the dimensions provided.
A Bill of Lading is issued, on average, about halfway through the
sailing. We will provide you with our agents in the destination
country to help you with the customs and release information. You can
choose to use your own agent if you wish.
Once the boat has been delivered to the shipping port all ocean freight is due.
We do our best to avoid crane charges at the Port. Crane use is at
the Port's discretion and any crane charges will be billed to you.
We can do any service that you require for shipment:
| • Cradles |
• Winterization |
| • Tower Removal |
• Arch Removal |
| • Shrink Wrap |
• Captain Service |
| • Bridge Removal |
Please let us no if you need these done prior to driver going to the
pick up location. Also, please have all lift fees, marina charges,
storage, etc., paid before the driver gets to the pick-up location.
All boats will photographed before loading on the ship. We are not
responsible for missing shrink wrap after releasing the boat to the
shipping line.
Some international trucking rates are available. Ask a JTC
representative for additional information. |
